Community Center
In many ways, the Community Center is the hub of what we do.
The Community Center is a place for visitors to access services or find relief from the weather.

Instructions:
Please enter the Chattanooga Community Kitchen main entrance through two doors located under a green ‘Chattanooga Community Kitchen’ awning
Open Hours:
Monday to Friday from 8:00AM to 11:30 AM and 1:00 PM to 3:30PM.
Open all day on Wednesdays for haircuts and foot care.
How It Works
All volunteers must be at least 16 years old.
Note: If you are 16 or older, but still under 18, a parent or other responsible adult must be present for the entire timeAfter signing up, please come prepared with appropriate attire including closed-toed, flat shoes and comfortable pants.
Sign in at the Welcome Desk and they will direct you to the Day Center to meet the staff.
Tasks
Front desk and general cleanliness
Assist with mail
Hand out hygiene items
Check out towels for showers
Connect guests to case management

Volunteers with special skills, groups, and outside agencies should reach out to our Volunteer Coordinator here to set up special programming.
